I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and continue to share the joy of the season all year round. Today I have a card to share with you that I designed for Little Blue Button Stamps using a digi stamp by Olga named "Flower Lips." I hope you like her.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and continue to share the joy of the season all year round. Today I have a card to share with you that I designed for Little Blue Button Stamps using a digi stamp by Olga named "Flower Lips." I hope you like her.
I started by coloring the digi stamp with Copic markers: I used...
Face: E00, E11, E13, E15 and cheeks R20
Hair: E31, E35, E37
Lips and Flower: R29, R32, R39
Flower center: E44, E47 and E49
Clothing: B95 and B97

The card measures 5 x 7, so you need to cut a piece of white cardstock 10 x 7 and fold it in half. For the embossed background and using white cardstock cut at 5 x 7, I used an embossing folder by Anna Griffin called "Flower Grid" and adhered it to the front of my card. I cut the colored digi design with Spellbinders Nestabilities "Fleur de Elegance" die cut. (S4-475). Next, I cut a piece of card stock 5 x 7 and punched one edge with the Martha Stewart punch called "Petal Lace" and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The flowers were cut out of red cardstock using a small flower "ek" punch that I purchased from Michaels' Arts and Crafts. The center of the flowers are "Dazzle" Brown stickers by Hot of the Press, which I purchase from Paper Wishes. The sentiment is by Mary Engelbreit, I had some paper packs by her that I purchased a while back from Michael's Arts and Crafts. I fussy cut the sentiment and adhered it to the front of my card.
