Instructions: I colored the sweet digi stamp with my Copic colors using 4 different blues and then cut out the focal with Our Daily Bread Designs Pierced Circles die, CBD162. To assemble the card, I started with a silver metallic 5x7 Anna Griffin card base. Then I added a grey and white card topper using paper from the DCWV Baby Boy Stack Cardstock pad. I then embossed a piece of white card, measuring aprox 4x6 with Cricut Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. With a piece of blue circle glitter card from the paper stack DCWV Collage Art paper pad I cut the Spellbinders Nestabilities die called Circle Delight, S4-511. Also with this paper I cut the die "It's a Boy" and the "safety pin" by Anna Griffin, Word of Encouragement cutting die set.

Hello Friends, Today we start a new Aloha Friday Challenge #98 over at the Kitty Bee Blog. The Theme for the next two weeks is Girly Cards. So get out the lace, pearls, frilly dies and all your pink card stock. I can't wait to see all your beautiful entries. Here is my take on the Challenge. I used an adorable digi stamp from Sweet Escapes.
For this dessign, I used Copic Marker for the coloring: Skin: E00, E11, E13, R20 Hair: E13, E15, E18 Shoes: E23 Jeans: B97, B95, B41 Flower Stem: YG17, YG25 Flower Center: Y13, W9 Petals: V01, B91, B41 and the Blender 0.
Instructions: To cut the focal digi, I used a beautiful die from Our Daily Bread Designs called Lavish Layers, CBD149. The finished card measures 5 x 7. The background paper is from a paper pad by DCWV called Collage Art Stack, I used one of the blue selections. I just love this paper collection, it is so versatile. Then out of lavender cardstock, I cut a 5x7 die from the Anna Griffin collection. For the flowers, I used blue ink and stamped "Delightful Daisies" by Heartfelt Creations onto white cardstock. HCPC-3656, Then I colored the flowers to match my digi stamp using copic markers listed above for the petals. Then using the Delightful Daisy die by Heartfelt Creations I cut out the flowers. HCD1-760. I then shaped them and cut the black center with the Arianna Blooms Die by Heartfelt Creations. HCD1-748. For the yellow centers, I used yellow Mini Prills, Bright Ideas.
I used a darling digi stamp "Captain Owen" from our sponsor, Paper Nesting Dolls. You can find this digi stamp here.
I colored this digi with Copic Markers and Spectrum Noir, I used the following: Skin: E00, E11, E13, R20 Hair: E35, Y23 Hat & Clothes: B97, B95, Y15 Dog: E37, E35, RV04, R29 Flag & Heart: Spectrum Noir Lipstick, Rose Red, R29 Stearing Wheel, Pole & Scope: W7, W5, W3, Y18, Y17 Boat: E18, E15, E13, E11 Ocean: B99, B34
This is a 5 x 7 white card base and for the background I used cardstock paper from a ColorBok paper pad called, "Marble". I fussy cut around the digi stamp and used pop dots to attach it to the front of the card for dimension. The fish at the bottom is a die cut from the Anna Griffin collection, "All About Him". The sentiment was made using white card and an Alphabet stamp set by "Ki". Then I used a Spellbinders label die cut called, "Fancy Tags Three", #S5-031. I cut two of these and stacked them with pop dots.
In the USA, Father's Day is next weekend and today I would like to share my Father's Day card I made for my Kitty Bee Design Team Spotlight. I used the adorable "Sax Kit Digital Stamp". The Kitty Bee stamps always color up quickly for a last minute card or project. Go to the Etsy store and give one a try.
I colored the Kitty Sax digi with Copic Markers: Face: E34, E31, E11, E00; cheeks and inner ears R20 Hat: W9, W7, W5, W3 Suit: R56, R39, B95 Sax: Y17, Y15
The background was created usingTim Holtz ColorCore Brown Cardstock and an embossing folder by Crafter's Companion called Textures, Dry Stone Wall. I cut the focal with two different Oval dies by Our Daily Bread Designs, Ovals (black) and Stitched Ovals (white). Then using a yellow-orange cardstock I cut the music die twice. One I glued to the card front, the other I fussy cut some of the music notes for additional dies to place around the perimeter of the card front. The music die is by Crafter's Companion called Diesire, Christmas Carol. Before gluing down the card front I took some twine crossed it and tied it in a knot. Using some blue cardstock and black ink, I measured and made a little flag to accommodate the Happy Father's Day stamp by Hero Arts. (CL498),

The darling little graduation owl is a cutting pattern file that you can print out in color on your home computer on white cardstock. Then all I did was fussy cut around the design and used pop dots for the dimension. I then cut a background die (from Anna Griffin) and a cute little flag die. I placed them on my card with pop dots and glue and then added a sentiment from lovely Anna Griffin. It was so easy and made a darling quick graduation card for that special graduate.

The mother's day sentiment is a die by Anna Griffin, Cuttlebug. I added prills to the centers of the sunflowers for added dimension.
For my second card, I used another My Besties stamp and you can find her here. Isn't she a lovely image.

My Besties Challenge Update: It was such a pleasant suprise to learn that my Sunflower My Besties card was a top 3 pick by the Design Team. Thank you ladies!
Today I would like to share with you my Kitty Bee Spotlight Design Team Inspiration. This time I made a lovely Easter basket using the darling bunny digi named, "Sunflower Bun Digital Stamp." Oh so cute!
I printed four Kitty Bee digi's and colored them with my Prisma Colored Pencils, then I fussy cut them. The basket was created using the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Garden Party die set. Creative Tip: Be sure to use double sided printed cardstock for die cutting. The papers used was Graphic 45, Sweet Sentiments Floral design. After die cutting, I colored the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Vintage Photo.
I added the finished Kitty Bee Bunnies to the center of each basket panel with pop dots. I also added the flowers to the handle with pop dots too along with a pearl for the flower centers. Then filled the basket with shredded paper and candy eggs. Makes a cute and sweet little Easter goodie to give.
The papers I used for this card is from the Blazing Poppy Collection by Heartfelt Creations. The flowers were made using the Blazing Poppy Petals stamp and Blazing Poppy matching die. I colored the image using Copic Markers.
Hi. I am a blessed wife and mother of a wonderful 6 yr old little boy. I have always had some type crafting in my life. At a young age my mother taught me how to sew on our family pool table, which I thought was so cool. Then as teen a family friend taught me cross stitching and I did that up until I saw an Anna Griffin Christmas card making kit on HSN for sale. I bought it and haven't looked back. I love it. I'm addicted. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my site and I hope you are inspired to create something beautiful. I am looking forward to hearing your comments and hope you come back frequently to see what I have for you. Blessings and Peace to you. Diane
